I put my new Canon Pixma MX870 last night. It has 30 minutes to configure my printer and install it on my iMac and MacBook. The two Macs running Mac OS X 10.4.11 I had trouble choosing a brand. I decided normally only buy HP Deskjet, but after my last AIO 6200 and the Deskjet 6800 Wireless only worked half the time I wanted to try a Canon or Epson. I must admit, I do not own a printer from my old Canon BubbleJet 1994th But it took until the new operating system is no longer supported. I decided to buy instead of the MX870 and MX860, I read on several websites, which solves many problems of 870 Mac users and a higher speed to fight. I also read that the MX860 has started slowly. Well, that was my MX870 fast enough to start and offers from a print quality. The phone is impressive. Much easier to install than my last HP. I have not tried photo printing yet. I am glad to see that there are 5 separate cartridges. This machine is an excellent value for money. I mean, if the high quality photo printing and CD / DVD is important to you, you should go up for the Epson Artisan 810 on. However if you want a quality printer without breaking the bank, choose the Canon Pixma MX870 ..
